HISTORY
The Wabasha County Developmental Achievement Center was established in October of 1970 with a goal of providing training in vocational skills to the intellectually disabled population in the Wabasha area. Serving hundreds of individuals throughout our 50+ year history, we have seen incredible growth in our individuals in all aspects of their lives; from behavioral management to job skills.
Today our organization still stands to provide individualized support in whatever areas our service recipients require. These services include functional skill training, life enrichment activities, exploration of employment opportunities, development of job skills, on-site paid production work, and community employment support.
